Laser engraving on sandstone

The law is not written. It emerges.

Tablets of the Covenant proposes an archaeology of the future: ancient-looking stone tablets bearing a language born from code. Engraved on the sandstone are images that are not a fixed script, but traces of movement, moments drawn from an infinite algorithmic flow.

Their source is a real-time generative system, producing a dynamic grid of lines that continuously write and erase themselves. The engraved forms are “snapshots” of this flux, selected and distilled into compact units that resemble letters, symbols, and code. Language here does not pre-exist; it emerges through processes of extraction and condensation.

The transition from screen to stone fixes the ephemeral into matter: not the image itself is preserved, but the trace of its becoming. The resulting structures hover between writing and architecture, between sign and construction.

The tablets appear as post-apocalyptic artifacts, divine codes inscribed in matter, yet originating not from external revelation but from a computational system. Within this space, faith and technology, human and machine, converge.

Unlike traditional tablets bearing eternal law, the law here is not fixed, it arises from flow.
